About the Group
The Friends of Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, Inc. (FOWCNFH) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that assists USFWS/Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery in meeting its mission.
The Friends Group is responsible for operating the gift shop here in the Visitor Center. The Group also works closely with the Hatchery to plan and carry out five fishing events; secures grant funding for environmental education materials for the Hatchery; provides sponsorships to summer conservation camps for children;
establishes and gives scholarship funds each year to high school seniors;
provides supplies for nearly all workshops, training opportunities, and events held at the Hatchery.
